A Prayer for the Struggling Writer

Lord God,
I come to you on behalf of the one reading my words. Father, they are struggling with crafting the idea you laid upon their heart and mind. I do not know the cause of their struggle: it could be writer's block, it could be an unexpected life event, or simply life in general. Only You know what clouds their mind and it is You I come to, to ask you to comfort and guide your child.
Comfort them with the knowledge that the idea you gave them will come to fruition on your timeline. Comfort them by reminding them that they are the only one who can bring this story to life, because it is You who placed it upon their heart. Let them know You have a plan, a reason, and they play a large part in it. They write for you. They set their eyes on You.
Guide them towards those who share their struggles. Let your children help one another. Guide your child towards your word because it will soothe their anxieties, whatever they may be. And lastly, guide them into your comforting arms as You tell them that You are with them always, through the highs and lows, the struggles and successes.
You of all know their passion for this story. Urge them to hold onto it. Comfort them, Guide them. Be with them as You always are.
In your son’s holy name do I pray,
